Trailer Contour Marking and Reflective Strip Applications
Trailer contour marking uses reflective material to make the side and rear outline of a large vehicle easier to perceive. A well-planned marking line helps communicate the length and outer geometry of a trailer in low-light conditions. The objective is not simply to add reflective tape, but to create a clear contour with the correct material for the actual surface.
Continuous reflective tape may be suitable for rigid body panels, while segmented construction should be considered for moving curtain-side material. Side panels, rear doors, hinges and mechanical fittings all create different installation conditions, so a single mounting method may not be appropriate across the entire vehicle.
