Microprismatic reflective technology
Reflective performance depends on optical structure, surface preparation, adhesive system, correct placement and actual use conditions. Reflite evaluates the surface and application type when guiding product selection.
What does microprismatic structure do?
Reflective material does not generate light; it returns a significant portion of incoming light back toward the source. A microprismatic optical structure controls this retroreflective response and helps commercial-vehicle contour markings remain easier to perceive in low-light conditions. Real performance also depends on application angle, surface and lighting geometry.
Why are surface and adhesion evaluated together?
Rigid painted metal or aluminium and a moving curtain side have very different mechanical behaviour. Continuous rigid-surface tapes and segmented flexible-surface solutions are therefore treated separately. A clean, dry and compatible substrate is fundamental to adhesion and a consistent marking line.
Why is technical documentation verified product by product?
If a project is tied to a specific standard, class or approval requirement, a general product-family statement is not enough. The current technical data sheet, test report or available conformity document for the exact product should be checked before ordering. Reflite does not present a product as certified or approved when supporting documentation is unavailable.
